KUKA Weekend Starts Today
This year’s 18th edition of KUKA will bring together 39 cruising yacht crews at the starting line.
The regatta start is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, with the exact start time to be determined at tonight’s skippers’ meeting – officially kicking off an unforgettable KUKA weekend!

Qualifying Races Completed at the Croatian Optimist Championship
The Croatian Optimist Championship, held from September 3rd to 7th, 2025, and organized by the Sailing Club Split, has completed its first two days of racing. In light to moderate maestral winds, on the well-known racecourse south of Čiovo, a fleet of 158 young sailors in the Optimist class completed a total of six qualification races.
This Week at sailing Club Split: Croatian Open Championship for Optimist Class
From September 4 to 7, Sailing Club Split will host the Croatian Open Championship in fleet sailing for the Optimist class. After last year’s break, the fleet of cadets is returning to the northern side of Marjan, to our club.

Great news from the distant Mar del Plata! Nina Marušić has won bronze in the women’s category at the Optimist World Championship! She also secured an excellent 15th place overall.

Last weekend, our sailors participated in the traditional St. Nicholas Regatta, organized by the Vega Sailing Club in Pula. The regatta gathered a large number of competitors in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 classes, and our athletes achieved remarkable results.
