Melges 24 European Championship 2024 in Split – A “Brand New” Leader in Town
The 2024 Melges 24 European Championship opened with light and unstable winds, challenging both sailors and the Race Committee. Hosted by the JK Split and the International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA), the event welcomed 41 boats from 10 nations.

The past three days at Sailing Club Split have been a flurry of activity, with teams registering, checking sails, and measuring boats to ensure compliance with one-design class rules. All is set for fair and competitive racing, beginning on Monday, September 30.

Results of the 71st Split Cruiser Regatta
The 71st Split Cruiser Regatta has come to an end, marking the start of the summer sailing season.
Friday brought scorching heat and a light maestral of just 1-2 knots at the start, later increasing to 7-8 knots. Sunday, on the other hand, featured a true maestral, with gusts exceeding 25 knots.
The crane has been repaired, and regular operations will resume.
We would like to inform you that the crane has been successfully repaired, and regular crane operations will resume on Friday, June 28, during the working hours of the JK Split port service.
The first leg of the Split Cruiser Regatta starts tomorrow!
We invite all competitors to the south side of the Split Gates, where the excitement of the first leg of our traditional regatta will begin at 1 PM.

All competitors registered for the 71st Split Cruiser Regatta are invited to the registration, which will take place on Thursday, June 20th, starting at 17:00 and lasting until 19:00
